The community cemetery
Williamsville Cemetery is a mix of old and new, modern and historic – much like the charming Village of Williamsville itself. Local residents speak fondly of the cemetery, as it has served numerous generations of families, many of whom lay in rest here, side-by-side for eternity.
Formally established in 1824 (one memorial shows the deceased’s birth date of 1799), Williamsville Cemetery is one of the region’s oldest cemeteries. Our stone pillars and wrought iron gate are memories of our rich past. We are located in the heart of the Village of Williamsville, where every day thousands of people walk and drive past on their way to work, home, or one of the many local parks or stores.
Most people are surprised to learn that we still have space available; indeed, each year many local residents continue to choose Williamsville Cemetery as their final resting place. We invite you to read more about our history, plan a visit, or contact us for more information.
